We of the Hope for Niger Delta Campaign (HNDC), a non-governmental and non-profit civil organization are once again appealing for the immediate release of all hostages in the troubled Niger Delta region of Nigeria.
Rising from our plenary session, the need to foster our belief in non-violence as an approach to resolving the endemic and protracted oil exploitation in the Niger Delta region which has brought untold hardship on the people has become a paradigm in seeking an end to the socio-political flux.
